Dr. Susan Phillips-Author of Candlelight: Illuminating the Art of Spiritual Direction

A conversation with Dr. Susan S. Phillips, a spiritual director and sociologist, a member of the Core Doctoral Faculty of the Graduate Theological Union, and for many years was the Executive Director of New College Berkeley where she continues to direct the spiritual formation ministries. She has written two books which consider the art of spiritual direction and the journey of spiritual formation: Candlelight: Illuminating the Art of Spiritual Direction and The Cultivated Life: From Ceaseless Striving to Receiving Joy
